ROYALTIES
According to the Producer and Marketing Agreements signed by all growers, packers and marketers of the BigBucks Gala apple variety, a fruit royalty is payable on all fruit in the premium category sold under the globally registered FLASH GALA ™ trade mark. Currently the fruit royalty is set at 30 SA cents per kg for fruit sold on the local market and 3 US cents per kg on fruit exported out of South Africa.
Any fruit of the BigBucks Gala variety that meets the specifications for FLASH GALA must be packed as FLASH GALA, as per Grower Agreement.
